12/20/09

Hello. Christmas is just around the corner and my time at home is quickly coming to an end. Five weeks sure goes by quick when all ya do is goof off, but it certainly has been fun. I managed to get a beauty of a tree into the house but it wasn't the one I would have liked. This tree came from my front yard and is a Blue Spruce that I planted about 14 years ago. A heavy snowfall last
week snapped it in half and now the top 12 feet is in the front room. What a prickly sucker!

  1. But I bet it looks beautiful. My Mom worked for years towards her all "blue" tree, blue spruce, blue lights with blue and silver balls. Hope you had a great Christmas!

  3. Kind of sad when a tree you planted has to come down. We've planted a few live Christmas trees since I was very young...unfortunately, they're all gone now...
But you made the best of it and have another great memory from it!
Hope your Christmas was wondeful and you and your family have a safe, prosperous, healthy New Year!!
